In dieser Farbgebung ist die VFW 614 nur im Modell geflogen ( siehe Foto unten ). Zur Luftfahrtschau in Hannover im Jahre 1966 wurde eine Holzatrappe in 1:1 präsentiert, welche diese Lackierung trägt. Bis zum Prototypen taucht diese Farbgebung auch immer wieder in Prospekten und auf Modellen auf Austellungen auf. Verkuyl Modelle in dieser Farbgebung wurden bis ca. 1974 an Gäste und Besucher übergeben.
In this livery the 614 only flew as a model. At the Air Show in Hannover 1966 a 1:1 wodden mock-up in this colours was presented to the public. Up to the first prototype, models and photos of the VFW 614 appeared on Air Shows and in brochures of VFW. Verkuyl models of this kind where presented to guests and visitors up to approx. 1974.

Die Erstauslieferung der VFW 614 an die dänische Cimber Air fand am 02.08.1975 statt. Insgesamt wurden bis 31.08.1979 fünf Maschinen bei Cimber Air eingesetzt.
Das gezeigte Modell ist Teil der Rheingold Collection.
Cimber Air was the Launch-Customer for the VFW 614. The first aircraft was delivered on the 2nd of August 1975. Untill the 31st of August 1979 Cimber Air flew with 5 different VFW 614.

Auch in dieser Bemalung ist die VFW 614 nur im Modell geflogen : 1975 / 1976 beteiligte sich VFW-Fokker an einer Ausschreibung der US Küstenwache, für 41 Flugzeuge. Leider erhielt die Falcon Jet Corporation den Zuschlag.
Dieses Modell gehört Christian Lell. Er hat es aus einer "blauen" VFW 614 von Verkuyl (siehe oben) mit original Decals von Verkuyl hergestellt.
In this livery the VFW 614 only flew as model : 1975/1976 VFW-Fokker took part in a tender from the US Coast Guard for 41 airplanes. Unfortunately the tender of the Falcon Jet Company was accepted.
This model is owned by Christian Lell. He build it from a "blue" Verkuyl 614 with original decals.

17+03 flog vom 30.08.1977 bis zum 30.09.1998 für die Luftwaffe.

The german Airforce used 3 VFW 614 for more than 21 years.
17+01 was in service from the 4th of May 1977 to the 30th of August 1998
17+03 was in service from the 30th of August to the 30th of September 1998

Air Alsace aus dem elsässischen Colmar und flog sowohl eigene Strecken, als auch Strecken im Auftrag der Air France. Zwischen dem 03.06.1976 bis zum 15.07.1980 wurden 4 verschiedene VFW 614 eingesetzt.

French airline Air Alsace was working for Air France but served own connections as well. Betwen the 3rd of June 1976 and the 15th of July 1980 they used 4 different VFW 614.

TAT setzte zwei VFW 614 für nur ein Jahr ein. Probleme mit den Triebwerke veranlassten die Airline zur Rückgabe der Flugzeuge und zur Stornierung der Bestellung von 8 Flugzeugen.

Der Erstflug der Vorserienmaschine G3 fand am 10.10.1972 statt. Das Flugzeug wurde nicht im Linendienst eingesetzt und 1980 in Lemwerder verschrottet.

The first flight of G3 took place on the 10th of October 1972. It was never used by airlines and scrapped in Lemwerder in 1980.

Alisarda gehörte zu den ersten Airlines, die eine Absichtserklärung zum Kauf der VFW 614 abgegeben haben, aber nie wirklich bestellten. Ein extrem seltenes Modell ! Das Modell ist Teil der Strijbeek FFF Collection.
Alisarda was one of the airlines who signed a letter of intend to buy VFW 614, but never palced and order. A very rare model ! Model is part of the Strijbeek FFF Collection.

Auch in diesen Farben ist die VFW 614 niemals geflogen. Die Farbgebung ist angepaßt an die Farben von Fokker von Mitte der 70er Jahre.
The 614 never flew in this colours as well. It is an adaption of the 70ies colours of Fokker.
